All workshops are meticulously researched, client-driven and custom designed. We do not offer “walk-in” one-size-fits-all generic workshops. As such, interview scenarios deal with your specific issues. The realism, the videotaped practice interviews, and the follow-on critiques prepare you for the actual media encounter or the upcoming public speaking event.

For group training we prefer 6 – 10 participants which allows for more dynamic interaction and multiple on-camera presentations and thus ensures that each participant receives the full benefits of the training experience.
Rather than inflate the price of a workshop to accommodate larger numbers (diminishing the effectiveness of the training) we are happy to conduct additional workshops at reduced rates to maintain class size integrity and training effectiveness. Executive training is generally one-on-one but can include up to three individuals.
Rates for individual on-site refresher training are quoted upon request. Consultation via phone, e-mail, Skype or other video link up for one-year following your workshop is included at no additional charge.
Additional expenses such as travel, off-site conference center (if required), hotel, etc., may apply but are billed at pass-through rates. Discounts may also apply for multiple workshops (3 or more), long-term contracts, and for non-profit and first responder organizations.
One Year Free Follow Up
Our workshops include a one-year follow up by phone, e-mail or Skype (or in person in Southern California) at no additional charge for assistance with developing the communications agenda for media interviews, and actual practice media interviews and presentations.
Materials
All exercises and materials including The Media Skills Workbook or Presentation Skills & Speech Dynamics Workbooks, DVD of participants’ presentations, and evaluation and improvement notes are included in the program fees.
Facilities & Equipment
We provide all necessary equipment to include professional-quality video camera, lighting, wireless microphones, and DVDs. We request a conference room or other training facility equipped with a whiteboard, lectern, and television set/monitor or projection system with sound, devoid of distraction, and of sufficient space to conduct mock interviews or deliver presentations. If you prefer to conduct your training off-site, another conference / meeting center can be arranged and billed at pass through rate.
Terms – Payment & Rescheduling
A fifty percent deposit is requested to reserve a workshop date with the balance due on day of the workshop. Deposits are non-refundable, however we understand conflicts do arise and will be happy to reschedule with proper notice. Program changes with less than 14 days notice may incur additional expense (travel, other reservations, etc.). Substitution of participants is acceptable at any time prior to the workshop. We accept VISA and Master Card or corporate check.
Registration & Confirmation
You may register by email with names and position/title of participants, information about your organization and its products or services, and type of training requested. Tell us a little something of your organization so we may tailor your workshop to your needs and issues.
Upon confirmation we will forward preliminary questionnaires to be completed by each participant that will enable us to assess each person’s strengths and weaknesses, experience, and goals to better design your workshop.
Tax Deductions
Most educational expenses and endeavors to improve professional skills are tax deductible to include course fees, travel, accommodations, meals, etc. Please check with your accounting department or tax advisor for specific information and guidelines.
